The Government of India and the
Department of Biotechnology continuously working to boost the Biotechnology
sector in India. There are lots of Biotechnology Parks of India and Bio-incubators
now that increase the scope of Biotechnology and creating jobs in the Biotech
sector.
Bio-incubators or Biotech Incubators are either public or private their main aim is to support the new
Biotech start-ups for the Bio-business. They help to grow the Biotech start-ups
to the national to the international level.
Biotechnology Industry Research
Assistance Council (BIRAC) is a government enterprise that helps the
Bio-Incubators in India. Currently, more than fifty Biotech Incubators
supported by the BIRAC. Private entrepreneurs also
established many Biotech Incubators in India that are working well also.
State
governments also establish Bio-incubators for more growth of the Biotech
industry in their states. Such as Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh,
Maharashtra has more Bio-incubators than other states in India.
